Job summary

Cinterra, a solar and electrical utility contractor, is seeking an Equipment Operator to work on large renewable projects in Virginia. You will operate Skid Steer, Off Road Forklifts and UTVs, support installation, and maintain equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include daily equipment checks, coordinating with ground crews, and mentoring junior team members while upholding strict safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• Six months of solar experience and certification in applicable equipment.
• OSHA 10 or greater with strong safety focus in solar installations.
• Positive influence on the team and ability to assist site management.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills during installations.

Responsibilities

• Operate Skid Steer, Off Road Forklifts and UTVs on site.
• Maintain and inspect equipment daily to ensure uptime.
• Ensure safety and safe working areas for crew.
• Document maintenance records and report deficiencies.
• Provide training and mentorship to installation team members.
