Job summary

Centrica Business Solutions is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and maintain solar systems and related equipment at customer sites. The role involves coordinating with Asset Management and clients, maintaining safety standards, and documenting job progress with logs and photos.

The position requires prior solar or electrical experience, OSHA 30 certification, strong communication, and the ability to travel frequently, including long-distance trips to various sites

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the Solar Industry or 3 years’ experience in the Electrical Field
• OSHA 30 certification
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks
• Strong communication in English (written and verbal)

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and maintain solar systems and associated equipment
• Coordinate and direct investigative and repair activities with Asset Management, Clients and Vendors
• Provide daily logs, photos, updates and reports from the job site using mobile devices
• Maintain compliant, organized job sites and promote safety policies
• Travel to various job sites, including long-distance travel as required
