Job summary

Green Power Energy is seeking a Solar Service Technician/Surveyor to support residential PV projects. You will troubleshoot systems, install upgrades, batteries, and EV charging, and perform site audits to gather data for design teams and permit-ready documents.

Responsibilities include coordinating service work with the Service Manager and field technicians, maintaining safety, lifting up to 50 lbs, and passing background screens. Compensation: $20-30/hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience installing solar panels and wiring solar systems.
• Strong customer service skills, written and verbal.
• Ability to manage service tickets and coordinate with teams.
• Proficient troubleshooting techniques.
• Punctuality and consistent attendance.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot batteries, disconnects, conduit, panels, and inverters.
• Inventory and tool management.
• Use basic installation tools, power tools and hand tools.
• Support site auditing and data communication to design teams.
• Coordinate with Service Manager and field technicians.
