Job summary

Green Power Energy is hiring a Solar Service Technician/Surveyor in New Jersey to troubleshoot residential PV systems, install upgrades, batteries, and EV charging. You will conduct on-site audits to gather data for project scopes and prepare permit-ready documents, making a professional first impression with customers.

You’ll collaborate with the Service Manager, Dispatcher and design teams. Requirements include solar installation experience, strong customer service, a valid driver’s license,

Qualifications

Experience installing solar panels and wiring solar electrical systems.
Strong customer service skills, written and verbal.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders on rooftops.
Pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Install solar panels and wire solar electrical systems or run conduit.
Manage customer service tickets and coordinate service work with Service Manager and technicians.
Understand troubleshooting techniques for PV systems.
Maintain punctual, regular attendance.
Install and troubleshoot batteries, disconnects, conduit, panels, and inverters.
Inventory and tool management.
