Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an experienced commissioning professional to support pre-commissioning and commissioning of network and communications systems on utility-scale solar projects. The role requires onsite site presence with some remote work in a hybrid setup in the United States.

You will coordinate with engineering, construction, and QA teams, perform tests (performance, functional, reliability) on SCADA and site communications, generate detailed reports and uphold NFPA/NEC standards and

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of solar PV systems and electrical infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of networking and communications systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Ability to interpret Electrical and Mechanical Drawings/Schematics.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Interpret and implement site commissioning plans and adhere to schedules.
Coordinate with project teams (engineering, construction, QA, SCADA) to align commissioning activities.
Conduct pre-commissioning and commissioning tests (performance, functional, reliability) of all communications systems.
Ensure all commissioning activities comply with industry standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure optimal performance of SCADA and site communications.
Prepare detailed commissioning reports with test results, issues, and corrective actions.
