SOLV Energy is seeking an experienced Commissioning Specialist to lead pre- and post-commissioning testing for utility-scale solar projects in the United States. The role combines field site work with partial remote tasks within a hybrid arrangement.

You will coordinate with engineering, construction, and QA teams to execute tests, interpret drawings, and ensure adherence to NFPA/NEC and IEEE standards. Strong networking knowledge is required.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years of experience in commissioning utility-scale solar projects.
• Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, transformers, and electrical infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of networking and communications systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Ability to interpret Electrical and Mechanical Drawings/Schematics.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with industry standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret site-specific commissioning plans and adhere to schedules.
• Coordinate with project teams to align on commissioning activities.
• Conduct pre-commissioning and commissioning tests for communications systems.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA/NEC and IEEE/IES/API standards.
• Troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal SCADA and site communications performance.
• Prepare detailed commissioning reports with findings and corrective actions.
• Contribute to safety programs and ensure compliance with permits and procedures.
• Lead by example in safety and quality practices.
• Understand and apply testing of mechanical and electrical relays as relevant.
