Job summary

Langan is seeking a Civil Engineer with an interest in Solar Renewable Energy to join its national practice. This individual will assist with planning, design and permitting for renewable energy land development and infrastructure projects, collaborating with project personnel and using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related tools.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, 1+ years of experience, and EIT or FE registration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 1+ years of professional civil/site design experience.
• EIT certification or FE exam registration.
• Internship or professional experience in site/civil design.
• Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning, design and permitting of renewable energy land development and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and modify engineering reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, cost estimates and design plans using engineering software.
• Assess soil composition, terrain, hydrology and geologic data for planning and design.
• Propose new approaches to improve efficiency and services.
• Apply engineering knowledge and advanced mathematics.
• Collaborate with team members on project tasks.
• Perform other duties as requested.
