Job summary

Langan is seeking a Civil Engineer with an interest in Solar Renewable Energy to join its national practice. This role supports planning, design and permitting for renewable energy projects and involves close collaboration with project personnel using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related tools.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, 1+ years of experience, EIT or FE registration, and proven communication and teamwork skills. Travel and overtime may be required as projects demand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 1+ years of professional experience.
• EIT Certification or FE exam registration.
• Internship or experience in site/civil design, including site planning, grading, stormwater, drainage, and soil erosion.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning, design and permitting of renewable energy land development projects.
• Prepare and modify engineering documents including reports, specs, plans, schedules, and cost estimates.
• Assess soil, terrain, hydrology, topography and geology for project impact on design.
• Collaborate with team members and apply engineering and math principles.
