Job summary

Langan is seeking a Civil Engineer with an interest in Solar Renewable Energy to join its national practice. You will support planning, design and permitting of renewable energy land development and infrastructure projects in collaboration with project personnel using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and related tools.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, 1+ years of experience, and EIT/FE certification or registration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 1+ years of professional experience in site/civil design.
• EIT Certification or FE registration.
• Experience in site planning, grading, stormwater, drainage, and soil erosion.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, design and permitting of renewable energy land development projects.
• Prepare and modify engineering documents including reports, plans, schedules and cost estimates.
• Analyze soil, terrain, hydrological and geologic data for project design.
• Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency and service quality.
• Apply engineering knowledge and mathematics to project tasks.
• Support project personnel in day-to-day tasks and assignments.
• Travel as required by business needs.
