Job summary
Octopus Energy Group is seeking an experienced Solar PV Technical Sales Support Manager to ensure installation specifications are met for domestic PV projects. You will collaborate with the internal low carbon design team to enable thousands of solar PV systems nationwide, with travel across the country and a company-provided car.
You will lead a technical team, support the sales process with expert answers, and uphold rigorous installation standards from survey to post-install support.
Qualifications
- Fully trained solar PV technical expert with domestic installation experience.
- City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent; 18th Edition.
- 2394/2395 testing & inspection knowledge; Solar PV qualification.
Responsibilities
- Lead a capable technical team focused on standards, professionalism and culture.
- Ensure surveys from design team are technically viable for installation.
- Regularly review and improve our technical checks and support processes.
- Assist the sales team by answering technical questions for customers.
- Apply rigorous technical review at stages with installation risk.
- Support customers with App and desktop inverter software.
- Provide technical support during and after installation.
- Promote and communicate the value of our solar products.
