Job summary

Responsibilities include performing electrical inspections, reading diagrams, and ensuring compliance with plans, codes, and industry standards. The role requires training QC inspectors, coordinating with multiple trades, and adhering to safety protocols to prevent injuries.

Qualifications

• Visual and physical inspection of PV systems per plans, schematics and codes.
• Ability to read and interpret one-line diagrams, cable and conduit schedules, P&ID’s.
• Ability to train QC inspectors in inspecting electrical components and grounding.

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools and power tools to inspect PV systems per codes and drawings.
• Complete all solar electrical inspections.
• Train QC Inspectors on electrical components.
• Follow safety processes and stop-work authority as needed.
• Provide on‑the‑job training and mentoring.
