Job summary

SunVest Solar, LLC, headquartered in Chicago, IL, is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead owner-supplied equipment procurement for a growing renewable energy portfolio. You will negotiate with suppliers, manage material cost estimates, and maintain procurement trackers to support project schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
• 3+ years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience in solar, renewable energy, EPC, or construction.
• Hands-on experience sourcing and buying major solar equipment (modules, inverters, racking, trackers, and electrical balance-of-system materials).
• Experience negotiating supplier pricing, terms, and Master Service Agreements or equivalent supply agreements.
• Knowledge of purchase orders, lead time tracking, shop drawing approvals, and delivery coordination.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage additional vendors to lower costs and shorten lead times while maintaining quality.
• Negotiate Master Service Agreements with key suppliers and lead supplier negotiations.
• Provide accurate material cost estimates and options as projects move from development to NTP.
• Track lead times and shop drawing approvals to keep project schedules on track.
