Job summary

Apex Clean Energy is seeking a Manager or Senior Manager of Solar Equipment Procurement to build and run procurement programs for modules, trackers, and inverters. You will translate strategic objectives into actionable workflows, negotiate terms, and ensure bankability and compliance across projects.

Working with Solar Design, EPC, Asset Management, and Legal, you will manage supplier relationships, track markets and tariffs, and push for continuous improvement using tools like Smartsheet and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Business, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, including at least 2 years in utility-scale renewable energy
• Working knowledge of utility-scale solar equipment (trackers, modules, inverters) and site design
• Experience negotiating or supporting equipment supply agreements, including commercial and legal terms
• Strong financial and analytical skills (advanced Excel; ability to build bid comparisons and evaluate cost, schedule, and risk tradeoffs)
• Clear written and verbal communication, and comfort influencing stakeholders without direct authority
• Self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and building processes where none exist
