Job summary

Sun Solar is seeking a qualified Solar Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of residential and commercial solar projects, from contract to installation and completion, ensuring a superior customer experience.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail‑oriented professional with 3–5 years of solar operations leadership, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of solar operations leadership experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Must have knowledge of solar installation practices and the solar industry.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operational workflow of solar projects from contract execution through installation and completion.
• Collaborate with leadership and cross‑functional teams to identify and resolve operational challenges.
• Monitor project pipelines to ensure timelines and quality standards are met.
• Coordinate communication between departments including sales, design, permitting, procurement, project management, installation, and service.
• Serve as a liaison between customers and the company, providing updates and resolving issues.
• Create and maintain project documentation in the CRM and operational systems.
• Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and improve customer experience.
• Track operational metrics and provide reporting to leadership.
• Ensure policies, procedures, and safety standards are followed.
• Assist in resource planning and prioritization to support changing business needs.
