Job summary

Pivot Energy is seeking a Project Development Associate to support solar project development efforts, site assessments, permitting document preparation, and coordination with landowners and third-party contractors. The role involves managing land use permits, public outreach, interconnection studies, and real estate support to advance multiple projects in the portfolio.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in renewable energy development, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask

Qualifications

Minimum 1–3 years of experience in renewable energy development.
Excellent communication and public relations skills.
Strong verbal and written communication with stakeholders of varying knowledge.

Responsibilities

Support Developers and Directors of Project Development with a variety of tasks.
Evaluate site viability via visits, desktop diligence, and permitting analyses.
Assist in submittal documents for permitting authorities and land use processes.
Organize projects, budgets, and records using Procore & Salesforce.
Coordinate with outside vendors and manage meeting minutes and invoices.
Attend community events and publish meeting notes.
