NY State Solar is seeking a Senior Project Coordinator to support and manage solar project pipelines, coordinating with Project Managers to ensure on-time delivery, budget tracking, and efficient logistics. • 2+ years of experience as a project coordinator within the Solar Industry.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budget tracking and cost management.
• Proficiency in project management or CRM software; advanced organizational skills required.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and adaptable mindset.
• Ambition to grow into a Project Manager role.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee solar project pipelines, ensuring all projects move smoothly from initiation to closeout.
• Partner closely with Project Managers to support scheduling, onboarding/trainings, resource allocation, and issue resolution.
• Track and report on project finances, including budgets, invoices, and cost management.
• Maintain and improve project tracking systems, ensuring accurate milestones, vendor data, and compliance records.
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to ensure the timely delivery of services and materials.
• Provide clear, consistent updates to internal teams, leadership, and customers.
• Identify potential risks and elevate issues while helping to resolve challenges proactively.
• Support training and process improvements to ensure best practices across project coordination.
