Job summary

NY State Solar in New York seeks a Technical Project Manager to oversee solar energy projects from planning to completion.

You will coordinate engineers, installers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure on-time delivery, within budget and high quality standards, while maintaining clear communication and swiftly resolving issues across the project lifecycle.

The role requires strong leadership, budget and schedule development, and experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce, Trello or Asana.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years managing solar energy or similar technical construction projects.
  • Knowledge of solar energy systems, strong project management, and communication skills.
  • PMP or similar certifications are a plus.
  • Experience with project management and CRM software (e.g., Trello, Salesforce, Asana).
  • Strong ability to lead and coordinate with diverse teams.
  • Ability to resolve challenges and keep projects on track.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve high customer satisfaction and positive feedback.
  • Minimize scope changes during the project.
  • Address problems promptly and efficiently.

Technical Project Manager
Compensation:

$75K-$90K per year

Job Type:

Full-Time, Monday - Friday.

NY State Solar sells, designs, and builds quality solar systems in the New York City metropolitan area! Our focus is to provide an outstanding customer experience and deliver a high quality PV system. Dedicated to helping New York become economically and environmentally sustainable.

The Technical Project Manager (TPM) will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of solar energy projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards. This position will involve close collaboration with

engineers, installers, subcontractors, and clients to deliver exceptional solar solutions for our customers.
