Job summary

Solar Landscape is seeking a Project Coordinator to assist in planning, budgeting, and completion of commercial PV projects across diverse sites in the U.S. You will work with engineering, procurement, and field teams to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with safety standards.

The role requires 2+ years in solar project coordination, strong organizational skills, and the ability to travel to job sites. Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, and Dynamics 365 is expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and construction management software such as Dynamics 365.
  • 2+ years of experience in the solar industry, preferably in a project coordination or project support role.
  • Strong understanding of commercial PV construction, including rooftop, ground-mount, and carport installations.
  • Knowledge of behind-the-meter and utility interconnection processes.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with construction safety standards; OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
  • Ability to climb ladders and access building rooftops.
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning, budgeting, management, and completion of PV projects.
  • Coordinate design and permitting activities with engineering team and local authorities.
  • Follow Solar Landscape Safety and Quality standards and make sure others are adhering to policies.
  • Provide input on construction schedules for assigned projects.
  • Solicit, negotiate, and execute subcontracts and purchase orders with timely delivery to support the project schedule.
  • Schedule and manage deliveries of materials and equipment. Maintain accurate receiving records and provide timely follow up to missing items, damaged goods, backorders, etc.
  • Assist with planning and execution of self-performed work and managing labor crews and subcontractors. Plan sequencing, crew-sizes, productivity goals, and monthly labor spend. Execute work and track actual results, adjusting and refining forecasts to reflect actual production.
  • Help complete all job closeout procedures including AHJ inspections, interconnection, testing, documentation, Owner’s Engineer revies, Independent Engineer reviews.
  • Build trust and rapport with all Solar Landscape departments.
