Job summary

Hanwha Q CELLS in Cartersville, GA is seeking a Development Quality Engineer to guide QA across the product lifecycle. You will work with development teams to set quality standards, prevent issues, and ensure final product quality.

You will operate solar simulators and measurement systems, review designs, and drive quality improvements through testing plans, data analysis, and cross-lab collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, etc.).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality management or development roles.
• Strong understanding of product development process and preventive activities.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Outstanding teamwork and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with quality assurance processes and standards
• Ability to work under pressure, self-motivated, and driven team player.
• Proactive approach toward various issues.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality management and improvement activities throughout the solar product development phases.
• Setting quality standards and objectives at the early stages of product development.
• Reviewing product designs and establishing testing plans.
• Analyze quality-related issues and propose effective solutions.
• Participate in Gate Meetings at each development phase and provide constructive feedback.
• Establish and implement quality assurance processes for final production.
• Analyze reliability and quality-related data and prepare detailed reports
• Operate and manage solar simulators and related measurement systems to ensure measurement consistency
• Analyze calibration and measurement data to improve measurement accuracy and consistency
• Collaborate with internal and external laboratories to maintain measurement consistency and quality standards
