Job summary

Hanwha Q CELLS is seeking a Quality Senior Engineer in the United States to oversee incoming inspections, product line patrols, and outgoing quality control, while updating internal quality rules in line with industry standards.

The role involves analyzing processes, developing quality procedures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in quality engineering are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related fields.
• 5+ years of quality engineering experience.
• Excellent logic and analytical abilities.
• Strong organization aptitude and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both verbally and in writing.
• Completion of ISO9001 training or knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and quality tests on products throughout the production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Analyze production processes and product designs to identify and address quality issues.
• Develop and maintain quality standards and procedures to uphold consistent product quality.
• Collect and analyze quality-related data to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and preventive measures to resolve quality issues.
• Participate in the design and implementation of quality control processes and systems.
• Provide training and support to quality & production staff to ensure understanding and compliance with quality standards.
• Conduct internal audits to assess adherence to quality procedures and regulations.
• Manage raw materials' quality to ensure consistency and integrity.
• Regularly monitor and review data based on suppliers' reports, yield, and each process quality.
• Plan, conduct, and monitor tests and inspections on materials and products to ensure the quality of finished products.
• Maintain, test, and troubleshoot quality instrumentation devices.
• Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities.
• Accurately record data and production information.
• Adhere to the Health & Safety procedures.
• Adhere to the policies and procedures of Hanwha Qcells.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.
