Job summary

You will establish supplier relationships, solicit bids, evaluate performance, negotiate favorable terms, and manage procurement logs to support multiple operating group projects while aiming to reduce risk and improve margins.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent with technical training
• Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience in construction or related field
• Knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management will be a plus

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain supplier relationships; solicit bids and select suppliers
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, and delivery
• Develop profitable purchasing strategies and procurement solutions to reduce risk
• Create and maintain procurement logs for each project
• Negotiate purchase agreements and orders ensuring compliance with terms
• Track orders from placement to delivery and communicate status to project teams
• Visit project sites to understand challenges and streamline procurement processes
• Lead special procurement projects as needed
• Collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
