Responsibilities include purchasing items at favorable prices, tracking orders, and coordinating with project teams to ensure timely delivery. A strong background in procurement and construction is required, with a commitment to collaboration and diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, construction management or related field.
• 4+ years procurement experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and materials (preferred).
• Project management experience (preferred).
• Understanding of the construction industry (preferred).
• Strong negotiating, organizing, planning, verbal and communication skills.
• Active listening and ability to work with diverse input and feedback.
• Experience with software systems.

Responsibilities

• Purchase items and services at the best price while meeting quality and specifications.
• Propose purchase transactions for higher approval before final action.
• Arrange returns for unacceptable products to suppliers.
• Track orders from placement to delivery and update project teams.
• Facilitate and run meetings internally and externally.
• Enter purchase agreements and maintain supplier contact to ensure timely delivery.
• Enter purchase orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Visit job sites or offices annually to strengthen relationships.
• Collaborate with diverse colleagues across organizational levels.
• All other duties as assigned.
