Job summary

ES Foundry Corp, a U.S.-based solar manufacturing company in Greenwood, SC, seeks a Safety Engineer to develop and maintain safety programs, ensure OSHA compliance, and lead incident investigations. You will partner with production, engineering, and HR to reduce injuries and improve safety performance.

The role requires 3–5 years in manufacturing safety, a CSP/ASP or OSHA 30+ is a plus, and a passion for a safety-first culture. On-site work with comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Health & Safety, or related field.
• 3–5 years of safety engineering experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Working knowledge of OSHA General Industry standards (29 CFR 1910).

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs compliant with OSHA/EPA and regulations.
• Conduct safety audits, JHAs, and inspections to identify and mitigate risks.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain OSHA records (300, 300A, 301) and regulatory reporting.
• Deliver safety training including new hire orientation, LOTO, and PPE.
• Oversee industrial hygiene monitoring (noise, air, chemical exposure).
• Collaborate with engineering/operations on safety-by-design during changes.
• Manage workers' compensation with HR and insurers.
• Lead emergency response planning and drills.
• Chair or support the plant safety committee and promote engagement.
