Job summary

Waaree Solar Americas Inc. seeks a Maintenance Technician to support a highly automated solar module manufacturing plant.

This role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure continuous operation and optimal performance of equipment. Responsibilities include diagnosing complex issues, inspecting equipment, and maintaining accurate work orders and part inventories.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and 5–7 years of maintenance experience in a highly automated manufacturing environment.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems used in industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail for troubleshooting and diagnosing issues.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment according to schedules and procedures.
• Assists in diagnosing and troubleshooting complex equipment malfunctions to identify root causes.
• Conducts routine inspections to identify issues or areas for improvement.
• Repairs or replaces defective components to restore equipment functionality and minimize downtime.
• Maintains records of maintenance activities, work orders, and parts inventory.
