Job summary

Comcast in Maryland is seeking a Solar Installation Helper to support the Solar Panel Installation team as an installation and electrical helper. The role involves working at heights, handling tools, and ensuring installations meet safety standards and customer specs.

You will work under moderate supervision and be accountable for personal results and team impact. Must have some construction experience, be proficient with hand tools, and hold an active driver's license.

Qualifications

Must have 2–5 years of construction or installation experience.
Experience with hand tools and basic electrical tasks.
Active driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

Assist electricians and installers during solar installations.
Carry out tasks such as bending conduit, stripping and terminating wire, and maintaining an organized job site.
Assist in mounting panels and racking, and wiring of solar systems.
Use hand and power tools to install racking.
Support servicing of the solar system as needed.
Layout and install conduit, disconnect switches and junction boxes correctly.
Perform work from roofs with proper safety measures and climb ladders.
Adhere to all quality and safety codes.
Maintain regular, punctual attendance and be able to work nights and weekends as needed.
