Job summary

Comcast is seeking an entry-level Solar Panel Installation Helper to assist with mounting panels, racking, wiring and safe installations. You will work with the installation team, climb roofs when needed, and follow safety standards and customer specifications.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, proficiency with hand tools, and reliability to work nights or weekends as needed. Compensation starts at base pay of $18.00 per hour. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Entry level — no experience necessary.
• Must have an active driver's license and be good with hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the installation of solar panel systems, including mounting panels and racking, and wiring.
• Using hand and power tools to install racking.
• Servicing the solar system as needed.
• Performing jobs from high places (i.e. on roofs) including climbing ladders with proper equipment and materials.
• Adhering to all quality and safety codes.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
