Ipsun Solar is seeking a Solar O&M Technician to service and maintain our residential and commercial solar arrays across Washington DC, Northern Virginia, and Maryland. You will document site visits, monitor performance, perform remote troubleshooting, and collaborate with field crews to keep systems running smoothly.

The role offers a competitive hourly rate ($28–$35/hour) with benefits including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, training, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in solar service work and system troubleshooting.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.
• Must have a valid state driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair residential solar and battery systems.
• Perform remote troubleshooting and monitoring of solar installations.
• Provide clear documentation of site visit summaries and photos, and maintain an organized work log.
• Removal and re-installation of residential and commercial solar systems.
• Maintaining a stocked, clean, and organized work vehicle.
• Collaborate with other O&M Techs and office staff as needed.
• Perform daily job hazard analyses and follow safe electrical work practices.
