Job summary

Recurrent Energy is seeking an O&M Field Technician in Ashley County, Arkansas. You will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of solar equipment, supporting uptime and production targets across North America. Strong electrical/mechanical aptitude and safety focus are essential.

The role requires 2–5+ years field experience, familiarity with electrical schematics, and the ability to work independently or with teams in a fast-paced environment. NABCEP certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical machinery.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
• Knowledge of reading electrical blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience in preventive maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot daily system issues to maintain plant uptime.
• Monitor production targets and implement corrective actions.
• Perform preventive and routine maintenance including inspections.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment like inverters, transformers, breakers.
• Coordinate with teams and suppliers to improve performance and reliability.
• Maintain CMMS work orders and document maintenance activities.
• Provide training and SOP documentation for maintenance staff.
