Job summary

UL Solutions will install and maintain a solar monitoring system near Cheyenne, WY. The technician will perform weekly visits (45–90 minutes) with 2–4 hours total time weekly, including travel, and will log data via Excel and photos.

No solar experience is required, and training will be provided remotely with possible onsite sessions. A valid 4WD vehicle and own transport are preferred for site access.

Qualifications

• No solar experience required, interest in the field a plus.
• Training provided remotely via phone and video; potential on-site training when possible.
• Must own or have access to transportation to and from remote SMS location.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment weekly, ensure level and clean condition.
• Provide troubleshooting with remote support and repairs for low–medium complexity issues.
• Ensure no debris obstructs the system and verify system is secure.
• Upload weekly Excel logbook and photos to document visits (45–90 minutes).
• Be the primary contact for equipment in the field and communicate effectively.
