Job summary

Mortenson Construction is seeking a Solar Laborer I in Holiday Harbor, Florida. This role supports the preparation, handling, and supplying of materials for solar installations and other trades on site.

You will load and unload, assist with rigging, racking, torque tube assemblies, and pile layout while maintaining safety and teamwork. Experience in construction is preferred, and visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction preferred.
• Ability to operate power and non-powered tools, vibrators, pumps, drills, and jackhammers, forklifts, skid loaders and power buggies.
• Strong teamwork orientation with positive attitude and professional customer service, plus active listening and effective communication.
• Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements.
• Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: up to 50 lbs.

SUMMARY

Mortenson is currently seeking a Solar Laborer I that will be responsible for the preparation, handling, and supplying of materials to be used by other crafts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Load and unload equipment and materials
• Responsible for the preparation, handling and supplying of materials to be used by other crafts
• Solar panel install
• Rigging
• Racking assembly
• Torque tube assembly
• Pile layout
• General cleanup and clearing of debris
• All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in construction preferred
• Ability to work with tools and equipment such as power and non-powered hand tools, vibrators, pumps, drills, and jackhammers; forklifts, skid loaders, and power buggies
• Strong teamwork orientation; positive attitude and professional customer service skills; detail orientation; active listening skills and effective communication, including an openness to diverse input and feedback
• Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements
• *Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: up to 50 lbs.
