Job summary

Nextpower LLC seeks an Application Engineer to support the solar inverter and PCS portfolio. You will work with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and customers to ensure proper application, system integration, and field deployment of inverter and PCS solutions for solar and energy storage projects in North America.

The role requires strong technical grounding in electrical systems and power electronics, with collaboration across product, engineering, and service teams, and occasional

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master’s degree is a bonus.
3+ years of experience in applications engineering or related roles.
Experience with solar inverters, PCS, battery energy storage, or grid-connected systems.

Responsibilities

Provide technical application support for power conversion products in utility-scale solar and battery energy storage.
Support Sales and Technical Sales during engagements, RFP/RFQ responses, and proposals.
Review requirements, diagrams, site conditions, interconnection needs, and product application requirements.
