Job summary

Sunrun is seeking an Installer to join our residential solar installation team. You will partner with the Foreperson and Lead Installer to complete projects with emphasis on safety, quality, and collaboration.

The role offers competitive hourly pay, full benefits, and growth opportunities through Sunrun’s PowerU program. Prior solar, construction, or military experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Solar, construction or military experience preferred but not required.
• Adheres to safety policies and reports hazards; promotes safe work.
• Able to get along with customers and coworkers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Demonstrates ability to meet due dates and performance metrics in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure crew and job-site safety at all times; participate in training on new products and safety.
• Review inventory at loading dock to ensure the crew truck is stocked adequately.
• Complete layout and assemble solar modules, racking, mounts and electrical equipment per project plan.
• Apply weather sealing to roofing structure and supports.
• Perform project cleanup to keep the site clean and organized.
