Job summary

Sunrun Inc. seeks a residential Installer to join our solar installation team. You will work with the Foreperson and Lead Installer to complete projects, uphold safety standards, and ensure quality workmanship on rooftops and systems.

You will participate in training, handle equipment, and collaborate with teammates to meet schedules while maintaining a focus on safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction across Sunrun’s expanding solar and storage solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience or exposure to solar installation or construction is advantageous.
• Ability to follow safety policies and report hazards.
• Able to interact with customers and coworkers professionally.
• Capable of meeting due dates and performance metrics in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure personal, crew and job site safety at all times and participates in training sessions on new products, installation methodology and safety
• Review inventory at loading dock to ensure assigned crew truck is stocked adequately
• Complete layout and assemble solar modules, the racking, mechanical and structural mounts, electrical equipment and tools in preparation of installation as specified in the project plan
• Apply weather sealing to roofing structure, building or support mechanisms
• Perform project clean up including client site and installation vehicle to ensure a clean and orderly job site and work environment
