Gardner Energy seeks a Solar Installer II to support the installation and commissioning of commercial and residential solar systems. You will work with a crew to deliver safe, high-quality installations on schedule, contributing to our renewable energy mission.

You will lead installers on tasks, travel to sites, and maintain safety and quality across outdoor work environments, including rooftops. This role offers growth within a safety-first, value-driven culture.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in solar or renewable energy.
• Ability to work safely per OSHA and company standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds.
• Comfort working at heights and rooftops.
• Provide own hand and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings.
• Dependable, punctual, and consistent attendance.
• 18 or older; long-term career interest; some travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Install solar PV systems including racking, modules, DC wiring, and related components.
• Follow OSHA safety standards ensuring a safe, clean work environment.
• Perform daily job site assessments and participate in crew safety meetings.
• Handle materials and equipment, including lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Travel to job sites and work outdoors on rooftops and elevated surfaces.
• Lead a team of installers on specific tasks or aspects of installations.
• Communicate effectively with team members, foremen, customers, and vendors.
• Maintain job site cleanliness, organization, and professionalism.
• Support continuous improvement and efficiency in installation processes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational success.
