Job summary

Colite Technologies in Columbia, SC seeks an entry-level Solar Installer apprentice to support rapid growth of our solar and renewable energy projects. You will learn to safely install rooftop commercial solar systems and contribute to on-site commissioning under supervision.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and a strong willingness to learn. If you enjoy hands-on work and teamwork, this role offers hands-on training and a path toward becoming a skilled

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Associates Degree in technical field is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to climb and lift safely.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Install solar panels, mounts, ballasts, BOS components and commission systems.
• Install equipment, cables, panels, conduit, wire and control devices.
• Tie in solar system to utility interconnection.
• Direct daily activities of crew and ensure quality.
• Support continuous improvement to quality and schedule.
