Job Description

The Solar Installer will focus on maximizing construction efforts and resource efficiency related to solar installations. They will travel with the crew and receive mentorship from leadership to ensure safe practices and standardized quality. The installer will be a key member in the installation process, understanding market requirements and serving as a subject matter expert to support team members.

Travel Expectations: Up to 70% of travel in and out of state is expected.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years in the solar industry (preferred but not required)
• Knowledge of residential solar products (inverters, modules, etc.)
• OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain
• Valid US driver’s license, active for at least 4 years
• Clean driving record (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than two in the past four years)
• Background check required

• Complete solar projects timely
• Follow safety and company guidelines
• Provide regular updates and complete paperwork daily
• Install labels on solar components and hardware
• Coordinate with leadership for project completion
• Lift/carry 50+ lbs
• Operate hand and power tools
• Scale residential homes
• Use technology devices (iOS, Android)
• Reside in MD or PA and willing to travel between these states
