Qualifications

  • 1+ years in the solar industry preferred but not required.
  • Valid US driver’s license required with a clean driving record.

Job description

Job Title: Solar Installer

The Solar Installer will focus on maximizing construction efforts and resource efficiency related to solar installations. They will travel with the crew, learn from leadership, and ensure all installation practices are safe and standardized. The role requires understanding market requirements and acting as a subject matter expert to support team members.

Travel: Up to 70% of travel in and out of state is expected.

Qualifications:
  • 1+ years in the solar industry preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of residential solar products (inverters, modules, etc.)
  • OSHA 10 certification preferred or ability to obtain
  • Valid US driver’s license, active for at least 4 years
  • Clean driving record (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than two in the past four years)
  • Background check required for all new hires

  • Complete solar projects efficiently and on schedule
  • Follow safety protocols and company guidelines
  • Provide regular updates and complete necessary paperwork daily
  • Install labels on solar system components and hardware
  • Coordinate with leadership to ensure timely completion of installs
  • Lift/carry 50+ lbs as needed
  • Operate hand and power tools
  • Scale residential structures safely
  • Familiarity with iOS and Android devices
  • Reside in MD or PA and willing to travel between these states
