Qualifications

  • 1+ years in the solar industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of inverters and solar modules.
  • Ability to obtain OSHA 10 certification.

Responsibilities

  • Complete solar projects promptly and safely.
  • Install labels on solar components and hardware.
  • Provide regular updates and complete daily paperwork.

Job description

Description

The Solar Installer will maximize construction efforts and resource efficiency related to solar installations. They will travel with the crew and be mentored by leadership to ensure safe practices and standardized quality. As a key member of the installation team, they will understand market requirements and serve as a subject matter expert to support their colleagues.

Note: Up to 70% travel in and out of state is expected.

Qualifications
  • 1+ years in the solar industry preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of residential solar products (inverters, modules, etc.)
  • OSHA 10 preferred or ability to obtain
  • Valid US driver’s license, active for at least 4 years
  • Clean driving record (no more than one moving violation in the past year, no more than two in the past four years)
  • Background check required
