Job summary

Renu Energy Solutions in the Carolinas is seeking a Solar Technician to join our Field Operations team. In this field-based role, you'll install residential solar PV systems alongside experienced Team Leads, learning the skills to build a career in renewable energy.

We provide classroom and hands-on field training during the first 30 days, all tools and safety equipment, and some local travel between job sites.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
Ability to work safely on rooftops, ladders, attics, crawlspaces, and confined spaces.
General knowledge of construction and OSHA safety practices.

Responsibilities

Assist with installation of residential solar PV systems from start to finish.
Follow project plans, specifications, and installation requirements while communicating field updates.
Perform work in accordance with company standards, OSHA regulations, and safety requirements.
Assist Team Lead and crew members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.
Maintain work vehicles, trailers, tools, equipment, and job site organization.
Assist with job packs, material staging, warehouse coordination, and project documentation.
Complete training and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.
