Job summary

Knobelsdorff (KE) in the United States seeks an eager apprentice to contribute to renewable infrastructure projects. You’ll work with wiring, PV components, and electrical systems, learning from experienced staff and applying our safety standards on every task.

This full‑time role offers hands‑on training through KE’s apprenticeship program, weekly pay, benefits, and opportunities to grow skills across automation, electrical, and energy services.

Qualifications

• Enrollment and good standing in the KE Apprenticeship Program.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist in pulling wire for PV string, DC, and AC feeder systems.
• Complete plug-and-play module connections and manage module leads.
• Perform DC terminations and label wiring for string wire, combiners, and inverters.
• Support AC terminations at inverters, transformers, and switchgear.
• Assist in electrical testing: insulation resistance and voltage tests.
• Interpret construction drawings and specifications to ensure accurate installs.
• Use hand and power tools to install racking and modules per design.
• Participate in daily safety and work planning meetings.
• Complete tasks using KE’s internal software systems for reporting and documentation.
