Knobelsdorff Enterprises in the United States is seeking an Apprentice Electrician to join our KE team. You will assist with solar and electrical installations, connect modules, and perform terminations under supervision, gaining hands-on experience across automation, energy, and renewable projects.

Candidates should enroll in the KE Apprenticeship Program, be willing to travel up to 100%, hold a valid driver’s license, and pass a pre-employment screen.

Qualifications

• Enrollment and good standing in the KE Apprenticeship Program.
• Willingness to travel (up to 100%).
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in pulling wire for PV string, DC, and AC feeder systems.
• Complete plug-and-play module connections and manage leads.
• Perform DC terminations and label wiring for string wire and inverters.
• Support AC terminations at inverters, transformers, and switchgear.
• Assist in electrical testing: insulation resistance and voltage tests.
• Interpret drawings and specs to ensure accurate installs.
• Use tools to install racking and modules per design.
• Participate in daily safety and work planning meetings.
• Report progress using KE’s internal software.
• Learn from leadership and ask questions to understand assignments.
• Communicate issues or scope deviations with supervisors.
