Job summary

DNV Energy Systems is hiring a Project Manager Solar Independent Engineering to oversee distributed generation, residential, and solar+storage projects across North America. You will guide projects from due diligence through delivery, collaborating with developers, financiers, and stakeholders.

You will support major accounts, improve processes, and contribute to proposals while growing industry expertise in a dynamic, hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, business, energy, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant solar industry experience.
• Strong project and time management skills.
• Fluent in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Understanding of distributed generation, community solar, and residential solar.
• Ability to balance multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Pre-employment background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Support major customer accounts and perform project due diligence.
• Manage projects and contribute to process improvements.
• Assist in business development including developing proposals.
• Work across lifecycle on DG solar projects in North America.
• Share knowledge and obtain feedback to improve delivery.
