Job summary

AOE International is seeking an experienced Solar Field Trainer to provide practical, hands-on solar installation training at the Vienna Correctional Center in Vienna, Illinois. The trainer will prepare adult learners for entry-level employment in solar and clean-energy industries by teaching installation tools, safety practices and workplace expectations.

Qualifications

• At least three years of professional experience in solar installation, electrical work or related trades.
• Ability to train adults and coach apprentices and new installers.
• Knowledge of safety practices and tool-control required.

• Lead demonstrations, supervise simulated installs and assess student performance.
