Job summary

Empower Home Services is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform residential solar service and warranty work with emphasis on safety, quality, and customer experience. You will troubleshoot and repair solar systems, investigate roof leaks, and complete all project documentation in CRM.

The role requires 1–3 years in the solar industry, solar battery installation experience, and ability to travel within California weekly. Valid CA driver’s license and clean driving record are mandatory.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in the Solar industry.
• Solar service experience is required.
• Solar battery installation experience is required.
• Knowledge with Enphase, Tesla and SolarEdge monitoring systems.
• Able to work in challenging environments (hot sun, cold, wind, tight spaces).
• Must be willing to travel and have a valid CA Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Complete service and warranty related projects.
• Close quality audits post installation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve solar warranty/service issues.
• Investigate, mitigate, and repair reported roof leaks.
• Troubleshoot AC/DC systems.
• Attend weekly safety and department meetings.
• Document all projects and close tickets in CRM.
