Job summary

RNWBL is seeking a field technician to support utility-scale solar facilities in Arizona. This fixed-site role focuses on DC system health, module swaps, tracker repairs, and inverter maintenance to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation of solar assets.

Relocation assistance is available for interested candidates. You will reside near the project when possible, inspect DC systems, troubleshoot components, and document all service activity while following OSHA, NEC, and NFPA 70E safety

Qualifications

2+ years’ experience in utility-scale solar PV or related electrical/mechanical field.
Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and OEM manuals.
Familiarity with electrical test equipment and safety standards (OSHA, NEC, NFPA 70E).

Responsibilities

Reside or relocate within 1 hour of the project when possible.
Inspect and troubleshoot DC systems, combiner boxes, and string performance.
Perform module swaps and replacements in accordance with site standards.
Diagnose and repair tracker system components (gearboxes, actuators, drives, motors).
Support both corrective and preventative maintenance across PV systems and BOS equipment.
Document work performed and maintain compliance with safety standards.
Collaborate with peers, site leads, and clients to ensure project success.
Interface and communicate effectively with customers.
