Job summary
ETW Energy is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to support solar and renewable installations in Peoria, IL. You will troubleshoot, repair and maintain solar panels, inverters and batteries, and provide clear customer support on system operation.
You will work with project managers and engineers, adhere to safety codes, and perform on-site service with minimal supervision while staying current with industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience with 1 year experience in solar preferred.
- Must maintain a clean driving record and valid driver's license.
- CPR and First Aid certifications up to date.
- Certifications in Tesla, Enphase, and SolarEdge.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance checks on solar energy systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to solar panels, inverters, batteries, wiring, and monitoring systems.
- Repair or replace faulty components following safety protocols and industry standards.
- Install, configure, and commission solar energy systems per project specs and codes.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers on system upgrades or expansions.
- Keep accurate service records and educate customers on operation and energy-saving practices.
