Job summary

SOLV Energy, LLC is seeking a Solar Field Service Technician (Level 1) to perform field maintenance on solar and related equipment at a Victoria, TX jobsite. The role emphasizes safety, accurate documentation, and working under supervision to gain hands-on experience in solar plant operations.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, basic understanding of electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and willingness to work at remote sites and on-call schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; vocational/technical training a plus.
• Experience in mechanical/electrical environments through formal training or work.
• Understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Knowledge of Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
• Basic understanding of solar installation/plant.
• Familiarity with testing equipment.
• Effective English communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety as the core duty and follow safe practices at all times.
• Operate and care for company equipment and tooling.
• Service solar equipment across multiple plants under supervision.
• Perform basic testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance under supervision.
• Replace or repair solar parts and equipment under supervision.
• Support on-call duties as directed by supervisor.
• Document work accurately and prepare required reports.
