Job summary

Solv Energy in Victoria, TX is seeking a Solar Field Service Technician (Level 2) to perform field maintenance and troubleshooting on utility-scale solar, battery storage, and high-voltage substation projects. This on-site role requires self-sufficiency and strong PV system knowledge.

The ideal candidate will have safety certifications (OSHA 30, NFPA 70e), the ability to travel up to 10%, and experience operating system monitoring tools while documenting time and materials diligently.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, vocational training a plus.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• NFPA 70e safety training certification required.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Safety is the top priority and all employees follow safe practices on site.
• Perform Solar Technician I responsibilities and more advanced tasks as a Level II.
• Test, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair solar equipment with minimal supervision.
• Test electrical systems on solar equipment and systems with minimal supervision.
• Use system monitoring apps to diagnose issues and respond appropriately.
