Job summary

OneEnergy Renewables is seeking a Field Engineer to oversee solar project site activities, safety, QA/QC, and compliance across Wisconsin and the Midwest. You will work with Project Managers, Design Engineers, and subcontractors to ensure quality and timely delivery of projects.

The role may be filled at Associate Field Engineer or Field Engineer level, with travel 50−80% in peak seasons. Competitive base salary and full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of engineering, construction, and/or technical project experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Demonstrated track record of success in solar energy or related field.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day construction oversight activities on solar projects in the Midwest.
• Review bid/proposal requirements and provide scope, budget, and schedule details.
• Ensure contractor adherence to HSE and QAQC plans on-site and remotely.
• Prepare and communicate accurate project status reports to management and customers.
• Obtain permits as needed and support future project delivery strategy.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors and project stakeholders as primary point of contact.
