Job summary

CoVolt Power is offering a Summer 2027 Field Engineer Internship on a solar construction site. Interns will gain real-world construction management experience by supporting Field Engineers, Project Engineers, and Supervisors on site.

Candidates must be enrolled in engineering or construction management, with strong Excel skills, math ability, and good communication. The role requires relocation to the project site for 12 weeks; overtime and per diem are eligible.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at a university in Sophomore to Senior year pursuing Engineering (civil, mechanical, electrical) or construction management/science.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and basic computer tools.
• Strong math, coordination, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support field engineers and project managers on the construction site.
• Assist with activities from preconstruction through final acceptance.
• Contribute to live project deliverables and prepare a final internship presentation.
